How to sell items at Memento For Sale Auction?

Interested parties should contact Memento For Sale and agree a specific date. There is no obligation to sell.

… when Items cannot be brought to project premises
If the item is difficult to transport, or very fragile, a provisional estimate may, at our discretion be given on the basis of a high quality photograph, specifying the respective dimensions, any markings, signatures or other relevant references.

When does the Seller Receive the Proceeds of the Sale?
When items are sold and the full amount of the sale received from the purchaser, Memento For Sale undertakes to deliver the amount of the sale to the seller in ten (10) days from the date of the respective sale. The seller is responsible for contacting us for payment purposes.


How to buy at Memento For Sale auction?

A previous registration needed to bid in Memento For Sale auctions upon which  a numbered bidding paddle is given.


Interested parties when arriving at the premises of Memento For Sale, should register by filling in and signing a form, giving their name and address, telephone number and identity card/passport number. 


The buyer acknowledges and accepts the general terms for trading in auction by signing the registration form.

PRIOR TO AUCTION


Assets up for auction will be exhibited from 15.00 - 19.00 in the same day before the session. 
Auction catalogues can be obtained directly or by subscription from Memento For Sale.

DURING THE AUCTION

Attendance at Memento For Sale auctions is free and there is no obligation to register or to bid. 


All you have to do is to raise the numbered paddle you were given at registration and clearly demonstrate your intention to the auctioneer who will accept your bid as soon as possible. After the bidding has finished and the item secured, the auctioneer will state the number of the successful bidder’s paddle and repeat the respective amount of the sale before moving on to the next item.

AFTER THE AUCTION

Obligations when Purchasing an Item at an Auction

1. Purchasers should pay the full amount of the bid.
2. Purchasers should take delivery of the item.

Payment should be made and the item collected within a period of five (5) working days from the respective purchase. Items may only be collected after the full amount of the sale has been paid.
